Once we receive and accept your order we commence the fulfilment process.
For hand crafted products such as those in the Reserve Selection range, each item is produced to individual orders. There can be up to 5 days lead time preparing your order prior to shipment.
Once your order has been prepared we undertake a final quality check and pack items into thermally insulated shipping boxes.
Your order is then shipped to your designated delivery address within 1 to 2 days. We notify you by email and via our online order tracking facility once the order has been shipped. Consignment tracking numbers are also provided to assist with expected delivery times.
The combination of preparation and shipping means you may need to allow up to 7 days for your order to be delivered, however once you taste it we feel you think it was worth the wait.
Huon ships Australia-wide using Toll Priority‘s extensive air freight and road network.
Orders are targeted to be delivered within 1 to 2 days after leaving our dispatch facility. Orders are normally delivered during business hours, Monday to Friday. We do not ship orders on weekends or despatch orders on a Friday.
In some instances we may not be able to deliver your order within the 1 to 2 day timeframe. Unforeseen circumstances, events beyond our control and regional areas with limited access may force delays. We will take reasonable steps to keep you informed of any delays.
Currently we do not take online orders for products which need to be shipped to locations outside of Australia. However you can register your interest in ordering and shipping to international addresses here. In some instances we may be able to arrange shipment directly or via an international distributor.
A standard flat rate of $15.00 is charged for all orders Australia-wide up to a maximum of 15Kg.
This means you have the opportunity to purchase several products and ship them for the same great rate. We encourage the consolidation of orders amongst friends and co-workers where we can deliver to the same address; it reduces our carbon footprint and allows you to spread the cost of delivery.
For large orders exceeding 15kg you should call our customer services department on 1800 651 409 (toll free) between Monday and Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm AEST to negotiate a special rate. Alternatively you can also email enquiries to email@example.com
Freight charges are automatically added to your order during the checkout process.
We provide facilities to keep you informed about the status of your order.
All our orders need to be signed for at delivery. The person accepting delivery may also be required to provide proof of identity when accepting shipments. You may authorise orders to be left safely at the nominated delivery address (authority to leave), however you need to be considerate of the perishable nature of our products. Alternatively in the absence of authority to leave, our freight provider will leave a collection card for the recipient to call and arrange for collection or redelivery. Redelivery services may incur a redelivery fee of up to $25.
Orders are packed into thermally insulated containers with specially designed and sealed gel based cooling blocks to ensure they reach you in the best possible condition.
